A year-long celebration of horse health, performance and care

Celebrating the Year of the Horse

At Abbey Animal Health, horses are at the heart of everything we do. Supporting the Year of the Horse is our way of celebrating the horses that enrich the lives of owners across Australia, while reinforcing our commitment to their health, wellbeing and performance. Throughout the year, we’ll be sharing advice, insights and trusted solutions to help keep horses healthy and thriving.

Vote now

Throughout the Year of the Horse, Abbey Animal Health will be supporting two very deserving horse charities with a monetary donation — and we’d love your help deciding how it’s shared. Cast your vote for the charity you’d like to support. At the end of the voting period, the donation will be split in proportion to the votes each charity receives.

RDA Victoria

For more than 55 years, the Riding for the Disabled Association of Victoria has helped children with disability experience confidence, independence and joy through the unique connection between horses and people. With 33 centres and over 1,200 volunteers, RDAV supports hundreds of riders each week, but more than 1,000 children are still waiting for a place. Support helps us care for our horses and expand these life-changing programs.

Save A Horse Australia

Established in 2001, Save a Horse Australia is a not-for-profit equine rescue and rehabilitation charity, focused on giving horses a second chance. The organisation rescues horses that are often in poor physical condition, provides veterinary treatment, nutrition, rehabilitation and behavioural assessment, and then places suitable horses into carefully selected long-term homes through adoption or lifelong lease arrangements.
