Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What active ingredient is in COXI-STOP 50?

COXI-STOPTM 50 contains the active ingredient Toltrazuril, a potent medication used to treat coccidiosis in piglets and cattle.

Why should I choose COXI-STOP 50?

COXI-STOPTM 50 is an effective single dose treatment that attacks all stages of the parasite in the animal. COXI-STOPTM 50 can also be used as a preventative in calves up to 9 months of age.

When should I use COXI-STOP 50?

COXI-STOPTM 50 should be used as a preventative or as a treatment after veterinary diagnosis.

Piglets: Piglets should be given a single 1mL dose orally between 3 and 6 days of age as a preventive measure. If signs of coccidiosis appear, treatment can still be effective if administered promptly to affected and at-risk litters

Cattle: In the case of history of coccidiosis on farm, treat calves 1 week before expected onset of clinical signs at a dose rate of 3mL/10kg bodyweight. For prevention of coccidiosis in recently weaned calves, treat at weaning time when milk feeding ceases. If signs of coccidiosis appear, begin treatment at onset of diagnosed clinical signs.

How is COXI-STOP 50 administered?

COXI-STOPTM 50 is administered as a single dose oral medication.
