EASYMEC™ In Feed Broad Spectrum Wormer and Boticide for Horses

For the treatment and control of roundworms (including arterial larval stages of Strongylus vulgaris and benzimidazole resistant small strongyles), bots, and skin lesions caused by Habronema and Draschia spp. (summer sores) and Onchocerca spp. microfilariae (cutaneous onchocerciasis) in horses.

Dosage and Administration

Dose rate 300μg Ivermectin per kg body weight.
EASYMEC™ IN FEED BROAD SPECTRUM WORMER AND BOTICIDE is formulated in palatable granules which are readily accepted by horses. Calculate the correct dosage for the horse’s body weight. 4 sachets of 17.5g is sufficient to treat either 2 adult horses of 700kg or 4 ponies weighing 350kg.

How many sachets of EASYMEC come in a box?

Each individual box has 4 sachets inside. This equates to 2 doses for a 700kg horse or 4 doses for a 350kg pony.

How many sachets do I need to give my horse/pony?

Each sachet of EASYMECTM is sufficient to treat 350kg. If you have a pony that is 350kg or less, you will need to administer one sachet. If you have a horse weighing between 350kg and 700kg, you will need to administer 2 sachets.

Can EASYMEC be used in all horses?

EASYMECTM is not recommended to use in unweaned foals less than 6 months of age due to the risk of incorrect dosing.

Does EASYMEC cover all types of worms?

EASYMECTM is a straight ivermectin wormer and is classified broad spectrum. It will however not treat tapeworm so it is essential to incorporate a worming product with the active ingredient “Praziquantel” into your worming regime.

No mess, no fuss

So easy to use

My horses, who tend to be fussy about additives to their food, all ate this in their regular feed with no issues at all.
It’s a very economical way to treat and easier for those hard-to-worm horses.
